"Where's Waldo? Santa Spectacular"- Stories to Read Together This Christmas
Parent's Guide to Story Reading Sanity - Christmas Edition
Where's Waldo? Santa Spectacular
by Martin Handford
Recommended ages: 3 and up
Do you remember these? Hours of fun. Alone. Or together. Sometimes it’s nice to just turn off all the
screens, get comfy and start looking for Waldo...
Parents will enjoy this book because . . . you don’t really have to read. You can just look at one page. You can play eye-spy with your child. You can follow the directions. Or not. It’s tough to spot Waldo, but not impossible.
Kids will enjoy this book because . . . they can completely engage regardless of their reading level - and honestly, sometimes it’s the little ones who have the sharp eye, which DRIVES the older, more competitive kids (and maybe the parents?) NUTS! Everyone gets to contribute. Everyone can do it. There’s always a tricky guy or something with stripes to distract you and get you looking the wrong way. There are silly things happening all over the place. . . AND THERE ARE STICKERS (if you buy it as opposed to borrow it)!!!!
Were’s Waldo? Santa Spectacular is a super fun way to spend some time together with the kids. But beware, it’s a little bit addicting.
From all of us, thumbs up. We love it. We love it. We love it.
